My short procedure to start with:
The following is important in advance
Does the buyer have a current license?
Is the building site with the necessary raw materials available?
Are funds available to pay for the study and due diligence?
This is how it continues:
Request from the buyer/contractual partner on business paper, addressed to Team 3000.
You receive an offer.
After agreement in principle, a LOI from the buyer follows.
Now we agree on the place and date for a personal meeting.
The technical presentations and the explanation of the financing (if required) are presented.
It makes sense for the buyer's technicians and bankers to be present.
Confirmation of the financing is presented or clearly rejected after preliminary examination.
The condition for financing is always a positive examination of the study by means of due diligence.
The study starts after payment of the study costs. Duration approx. 4 - 6 weeks.
The study is handed over to the financier. Examination of the study starts (due diligence) Duration 1-2 months.
It must also be clarified which bank the buyer will offer to secure (coupon) the repayments. This bank must have at least a BBB rating.
Now the construction phase can begin.
For a 4000tpd plant, a construction period of 2-3 years can be assumed.
Only after completion and start of production will the repayments begin.
We are happy to use our experience and trusted contacts to support you.
